As you many of you will be aware, Brian Tuor, a Canadian cable logging specialist has been travelling to NZ for the last 30 years providing training and consulting to the cable logging sector of the NZ forestry industry. In a recent email sent to us in early April he said that in fact he had “just returned to the USA from our beautiful country and actually got out on one of the last flights before the door slammed shut behind me”.
Brian sent us details on something which we could pass on to the cable logger readers. It’s a workshop that he ran up in British Columbia on Wire rope last year. It’s just over an hour in length and covers many of the basics of wire rope, its use and abuse, etc. Enjoy.
